E-tailer’s inventory location and pricing with strategic consumers

This study examines how strategic consumers affect an e-tailer's choices of warehouse location, price, and inventory. Local storage can encourage customers to wait for discounts, yet carefully distributing stock across central and local warehouses can be valuable when demand uncertainty is lower.
